Sorry I've been a little busy-- One of my best designs yet has just powered up, a *true* masterpiece created using traditional recombinant DNA methods, after nine months in fab. Project now requiring around-the-clock attention by factory staff as BIOS checkout continues and all systems come online. Looking good so far.

So this evening I received an request to display one of my pieces in the #digitalBRILLIANCE gallery and I thought that was pretty cool.  After I approved the request, I checked the piece to see if anyone had visited yet.  Previous number of views was 123, and suddenly it was almost 3,000.  Gee, it's almost like that guy got a Daily Deviation...  HEY, I got a DAILY DEVIATION!  Thank you so much to MonTemplar for suggesting it, and joannastar for featuring it!  I thought I was laboring all by myself over here in the corner, maybe in a year or two I could get a DD.  And thank you to everybody for stopping by.

It motivates me to make my first journal entry, and upload some pieces that have been languishing due to lack of CPU power.  Shopping for new computer now: i7 970 quad-core that's going to be seriously overclocked, which is kind of what I used to do in a previous life.
